International conference celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Pasteur

We highly recommend the conference “The last word belongs to microbes – Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Pasteur”, organized by the Faculty of Biology at the University of Warsaw, in cooperation with numerous national research institutions, including ICM.

This year we are celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Pasteur. His life was the path of epochal discoveries in the field of chemistry, biology and medicine, and at the same time an example of extraordinary intuition and research inquisitiveness, as well as great perseverance and determination. This year’s jubilee is a unique opportunity to present Pasteur’s figure and achievements of one of the greatest minds of all time.

On this occasion, we invite you to participate in an international scientific conference entitled “The last word belongs to microbes – Celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Pasteur”, which will be held in Warsaw between November 29-30, 2022 at the Copernicus Science Center (abstract submission by September 15th, registration of participants by October 15th).

The conference will be attended by outstanding scientists, experts with established, global achievements, as well as young researchers implementing ambitious projects of international scope.

The conference also gives researchers, PhD students and students the opportunity to present the results of their own researches in the form of posters and summaries published in the occasional conference book. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to give an oral presentations.

The initiator of the conference and the chairman of the Organizing Committee is dr hab. Tomasz Jagielski, head of the Department of Medical Microbiology.

The event is organized by the Faculty of Biology of the University of Warsaw, in cooperation with numerous national scientific&research institutions. ICM – in the Organizing Committee of the conference – is represented by Dr. Catherine Suski-Grabowski.
