New edition of Warsaw Quantum Computing Group in partnership with ICM University of Warsaw

We are happy to announce that we’ve become an Honorary Patron of Warsaw Quantum Computing Group (WQCG)! It is a meetup for quantum computing enthusiasts in Warsaw organized by the Quantum AI Foundation.

The goal of organizing WQCG meetings is to facilitate education and collaboration in the quantum computing field for people interested in this topic. Each meeting consists of a lecture given by a quantum computing specialist, some of the lectures are followed by an afterparty where quantum computing enthusiasts can interact and exchange their ideas.

The first meeting was organized on November 18th  2018 in order to commemorate the 100th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland. The lectures are recorded and are available on WQCG’s YouTube channel. The list of all the previous meetings can be found on the WQCG’s website: https://www.qaif.org.pl/events/warsaw-quantum-computing-group.

From the beginning of the pandemic crisis in Poland (March 2020), WQCG meetings are run as virtual events.

The next  meeting: “Introduction to quantum computing ecosystem”

The next meeting will take place on October 19th at 18:00 CEST – more information about it can be found on the event’s website: https://www.qaif.org.pl/events/warsaw-quantum-computing-group/next-meeting.
