OPEN — a new version of the Repository of Open Scientific Publications

A new version of the national repository of scientific publications, previously known as the CeON Repository, is now available to users. The revamped service, operating within the Open Science Platform of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM) at the University of Warsaw, has been renamed to the “Repository of Open Scientific Publications OPEN”. The service attracts over two hundred thousand users annually.

Researchers from all fields and scientific disciplines can freely and independently share their articles, books, conference materials, book chapters, reports, dissertations, and other scientific texts in the Repository, thereby increasing their impact.

The service is also an excellent place to deposit publications that must meet open access requirements imposed by funding institutions such as the National Science Centre or the European Commission. Scientific institutions can collect their employees’ publications in the Repository within dedicated collections.

The OPEN Repository features a new, user-friendly and accessible design. It has been enhanced with new browsing, searching, and identification functions for the shared publications and their authors, and optimized for mobile devices.

The service can be found at both its new and previous addresses. Its terms of use and policies remain unchanged, as do the identifiers and URLs of previously deposited items.

The service has been operating since 2011 within the Open Science Platform (pon.edu.pl) at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling of the University of Warsaw.

The Repository is available at open.icm.edu.pl.
