SESAR research partners work on automated runway condition monitoring system

As part of SESAR research and innovation project (Airside, Airport and Runway Throughput/PJ.02-W2), the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA), Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computer Modelling of the University of Warsaw (UW ICM) and MicroStep-MIS in cooperation with Airbus and Dassault have developed a ground-based, digital solution supporting the airport duty officer in assessing the runway condition.
