Open Science Platform
The Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling at the University of Warsaw has been actively engaged in efforts supporting open science in Poland for years. The unit designs and develops the infrastructure and software tools that enable the open sharing of research results, while also supporting institutions and researchers in adopting open scholarly communication models and implementing openness policies. These activities are carried out within the Open Science Platform—a team acting as a competence center for open knowledge distribution practices.
Leveraging its infrastructure and in-house developed software, ICM operates services that aggregate Poland’s largest open scientific resources, alongside repositories that allow researchers to openly share their research findings, including both scientific publications and research data.
